Vintage German Valentines - Motorcycle & Girl

Two more German valentines from my stash. These needed some photoshop help, the poor motorcycle guy's head was a little crooked. They are both mechanical. The motorcycle side car moves back and forth, and the girls eyes move.

Vintage German Valentine - Radio Girl

This Valentine is from that big Ebay stash I won. She's dated 1924 and was printed in Germany. She is mechanical, her head bobs back and forth. The tab that moved her head was pretty damaged so I photoshopped it out. She's been repaired a bit, her edges were damaged.

Vintage Valentine Die Cut Floral Heart

I won a huge lot of 1920s valentines on Ebay several weeks ago, and have been scanning them (and doing a little photoshop repair). They were from the collection of a teacher, and all of them were addressed to her from her students. They are so sweet, and all date from around 1922 to 1926ish. A good number were made in Germany. This one is a fold in half with a message inside (sorry, should have scanned that too!)

Victorian Trade Card - Tonic

I feel like I need a tonic this morning. This one might do the trick, it cures malaria, intermittent fevers, strengthens the muscles, gets rid of lethargy (which is my problem today), and gives new life to the nerves. Lily Langtry endorses it so it must be good stuff! :-D

Girl with Ivy Trade Card

This card was used as a trade card by a Rhode Island boot and shoe company. It was given away at Christmas, hence the message on the right side. I love it, and I have the back for you as well. Published by Tuck, the artist signed the lower left.

I have a set of Lettie Lane paper dolls dated 1908 that I cleaned up. The page was actually in pretty good shape, I just fixed a few splotches. The sheet is big - 14" tall.
