If you've never had a chance to go to a Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market), you should definitely try to make it some year. We go to the Christmas market in Bethlehem PA and it's so much fun! There's food, crafts, glass blowing demonstrations, a bazillion ornaments for sale, and did I mention food?
This postcard reminds me of the markets I've been to. Some have people in period dress walking around with toys hanging from a wooden display just like this vintage Santa in the postcard!
