Vintage French Butterfly Page

This page is from the French Le Papillons En Cartes book. It was a book of postcards for children. Some of the butterflies were left in black and white so you could color them yourself. Each card could be cut out and mailed. I believe this is turn of the century. I left it as is with a little foxing and crispy edges :-)

We've had so many pretty butterflies in the backyard this summer. Big Monarchs, and Swallowtails. I was really happy to find this postcard full of flutterbys! I added an aged background. Hope you like it!!
