Remember the butterfly image from a few days ago? I told you it was from a book of postcards. Here's the back that goes with it. You can see some of the butterflies kind of faded the back of one of the cards.
The back by itself would be great to use for journal cards!

Vintage French Butterfly Page

This page is from the French Le Papillons En Cartes book. It was a book of postcards for children. Some of the butterflies were left in black and white so you could color them yourself. Each card could be cut out and mailed. I believe this is turn of the century. I left it as is with a little foxing and crispy edges :-)

I have a few very old La Mode Illustrée issues and this is one of my favorite illustrations from 1868. The papers are pretty much falling apart so I'm trying to very carefully scan them.

This beautiful Redoute rose print would look so pretty framed. The text at the bottom isn't original. It was in bad shape so I rewrote it using a modern font. I also brightened up the original image. Free to download for personal use.
