Vintage Paper Doll Set

I have a set of Lettie Lane paper dolls dated 1908 that I cleaned up. The page was actually in pretty good shape, I just fixed a few splotches. The sheet is big - 14" tall.

Vintage Paper Doll Postcard

Raphael Tuck published a series of cat paper doll postcards portraying children's stories. In this one, the heroic tabby dresses as Alladin! The artist was Louis Wain, who was famous for his beautiful cat paintings. This was published in the 1930s.

Dolly Dingle Paper Dolls

I shared a Grace Drayton Halloween postcard yesterday. She is also famous for her Dolly Dingle paper dolls that were published for years in the Pictoral Review magazine. There are lots of reproductions out there, but this is a scan from the original magazine, dated around the early 1930s. Scan quality isn't great, but it should print fine!

Vintage Paper Doll Scraps

I have a special love for paper dolls! These are part of a set of Victorian scraps that were published by Tuck. You were supposed to make a card body for the dolls and attach the arms and legs.

Paper dolls are so cool! I wish I had a huge collection to play with. This Little Bo Peep doll is actually from an old postcard. Tuck published a series of fairy tale paper doll postcards They are pretty valuable now, most likely because all of the kids cut them up to play with, so they are scarce. Free to download for personal use.
